Check the real time status of your manuscript, view reviewer progress, and see decisions as soon as they are posted.
How to check status
- Go to Sign in and open your Dashboard.
- Find your manuscript and click its ID to view detailed tracking.
- Look for review progress, editor notes, and decision history.

Status meanings
Submitted — We received your manuscript and assigned it an ID.
With Editor — An editor is conducting initial checks.
Under Review — Peer reviewers are evaluating the manuscript.
Revisions Requested — Please respond to comments and upload a revised file.
Accepted — Your manuscript will proceed to production.
Declined — The manuscript will not proceed; decision letter available.
Typical timeline
- Initial check: 2 to 5 business days.
- Peer review: usually 2 to 4 weeks.
- Decision after reviews: within 1 week of final review.
Timelines vary by field and reviewer availability.
Notifications
- Email notifications are sent for key updates (reviewer invitations, decisions, revision requests).
- Verify your email in account settings to ensure delivery.
- Check spam or junk folders if you are missing messages.
